 Africa's most decorated rapper, sarkodie, has shared in a recent interview on 'Way up with Angela Yee' what his intentions were after recording his reply to the forced abortion allegations captured in Yvonne Nelson's book.

The multiple award winning rapper enunciated on the show how he felt about the song with his team being incognizant of it at the time he made the record, his sentiments on how the situation could've been handled and how his wife dealt with it.

"I'm not gonna say I'm super proud of everything. Is just how I felt in the moment. Whether being my truth, there should've have been a way you could've said it. That's why I don't like to speak about it". We could have a conversation if you wanna talk about it because it involves me as well, but because people know that sark doesn't speak, they think they can say something and get away with it" He expressed his point of view on how the development could've been addressed.

"No one in my team knew I did the record. I was on tour when it happened. And sometimes when I feel something, the lyrics is gonna come right there. So I sneaked into the studio to record it because I didn't wanna hear no advice. I just literally wanted to do what I feel at that point and face the consequences later". The idolized rapper communicated how the song came about without the knowledge of his team members.

"I have no idea how the song got out there. I saw Twitter going crazy in the middle of the night and then I saw people had put it out. I did it to just hold on to it and see if I'm gonna release it, but then when it came out, I had to just put it out there". He said his piece in oblivion to how the song got leaked together with what informed the decision to release it.

"She handled it the way that I didn't think she was going to handle it. My wife is not a Showbiz person. She cared and worried more about how I was feeling". He uttered in affection how glad and surprised he was with the way his wife dealt with the situation.
