Don't panic-Ken ofori atta tells angry Ghanaians.

 Finance Minister,Ken Ofori Atta who is currently facing some public outburst in uproar and beseech for him to resign for woefully managing the economy tells the people of Ghana to stay calm and that we will see an appreciation in the cedi to dollar rate soon while he cited our love for importation to be the cause of the cedi depreciation.He assures the people of Ghana some remedy in this obnoxious situation as he is working to bring the dying economy back to life.

The Minister,who assumed office on January 30,2017 inherited the cedis at 4.5 per a dollar has shambolically overseen it to a depleting rate of 15cedis per a dollar now.Ken Ofori Atta,speaking at the Economic forum for business at the Accra International Conference Center(AICC) in 2017,assured Ghanaians of some stability in the economy which will enable businesses to thrive devoid of lasting hurdles.An assurance the ordinary Ghanaian is yet to see manifest.

Despite calls from the public for the minister to step down like his UK counterpart,Kwasi Kwarteng did in order to save his office from further ignominy,Ken Ofori Atta still remains resolute and hopeful that the country's crippled economy will soon find it's feet.

In spite of this,president Akuffo Addo,is who some Ghanaians believe feels unperturbed with regards to the citizens predicaments,taken into account his recent interviews and regional tours.Family and fidelity,is what a chunk of Ghanaians have alluded to be what is still keeping the minister in office while the dire challenges of the economy persists without salvage.

In some few weeks,inflation rate has shot up to over 40% as it keep increasing every now and then people go to the market to purchase products.Amidst all of this,some traders have taken advantage of the flawed economy to not just charge exorbitant amounts for their products but are also hoarding some to distribute at treacherous prices.
