Transport fare situation.

 Following the supposed increment in transport fares as reported by the media last week,the public relations officer for GPRTU(Alhaji Abass),has asked the public to disregard the claim which is to take effect on September 21,2022.

He went on to mention that, a few stakeholder meetings will be held on this matter for a mutual agreement to be reached before bringing any news to the public.He goes on to entreat the public to remain calm for there will be no increment so far as the GPRTU is concerned.

Is been close to 6months where we saw an increase in fuel prices which obviously gave us a 20% hike in transport fares.

Patiently looking forward to finding out what the outcome of the meeting would be as we begin a new week.
